Pathway to Construction is a fun filled day for all the family celebrating and showcasing the skills and opportunities in the construction industry and the built environment – focussing on eco construction and sustainable technologies
There will be diggers and dumpers, workshops and demonstrations, challenges and play activities, delicious food and lots of entertainment and music from local young bands – something for everyone.
The day also features the school House Build challenge – the culmination of a competition held for local secondary schools and sponsored by local contractors to build a scaled house – you will be able to see how they they get on throughout the day.
Younger children you can become Bob The Builder for a day and students from Sussex Coast College will be working with students from France on creating a training house, where you can try your hand at carpentry, plastering, painting and decorating.
